Abstract

This paper will explore the radiographer's role within the chain of evidence when imaging children suspected of having received non-accidental injuries (NAI). Although other authors have addressed technical issues in relation to NAI, no one has specifically focused on the radiographer's unique role in relation to their contribution to the chain of evidence or on the fact that radiographers may be required to attend Court proceedings at a later date.
