The North American Conference on British Studies (NACBS) is seeking a new editorial team for the Journal of British Studies, including a new general editor or coeditors and a new book review editor or coeditors. The current editors’ term ends in December 2009, and the NACBS hopes to select new editors by the summer of 2009. Those interested should contact Professor Nicholas Rogers of the York University History Department ([email protected]). The deadline for applications for both positions is 30 November 2008. Further discussion may also be had with the president or vice president of NACBS, respectively, Barbara Harris ([email protected]) or Philippa Levine ([email protected]). The Journal of British Studies, published four times a year by the University of Chicago Press, is the premier journal in the field in North America, with a circulation of over 1,700. The Press provides for an editorial assistant to the editor.
