For instance, p. 120, flight of the Taira from Kyoto: 14 August 1183 (and not September); death of Yoshinaka: 4 March 1184 (and not 5); Yoritomo raised to the upper second rank: 23 January 1189 (and not February 1188). One must not confuse as it had been done p. 42, n. 1 and p. 5 of the Japanese preface, the death of the Emperor Horikawa which happened the 9th of August 1107 and the death of ex-Emperor Shirakawa which occurred the 24th of July 1129.
