Characterizations of inverse problems in queueing and their stability

Abstract

Two inverse problems in queueing are studied, namely: (i) a restoration of system characteristics, and (ii) a restoration of model classes. These problems are discussed in the framework of a general concept of characterization problems given by Kalashnikov and Rachev (1985).
