Summary

The results of 84 experiments with six levels of nitrogen were used to investigateresponse curves relating the dry-matter yield of grass herbage to fertilizer nitrogen. Of the five curves tested, the inverse quadratic represented the relationship well, although no one curve fitted best on all experiments.
