[The Court being equally divided, the President cast a second and decisive vote. Those voting for the result reached, in addition to the President, Sir Percy Spender, were B. Winiarsky, J. Spiropoulos, Sir Gerald Fitzmaurice, G. Morelli, André Gros, and J. T. van Wyk. Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, who disqualified himself; J. L. Bustamante y Rivero, who became ill during the proceedings; and Fouad Ammoun, who was elected to the Court during the proceedings, did not participate in the vote.]
