The two international conventions covering liability for pollution damage from tankers, the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage and the International Convention on the Establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage, appear at 9 I.L.M. 45 (1970) and 11 I.L.M. 284 (1972). As of November 15, 1974, neither international convention had entered into force.]
