Tolerance in crop plants to insect pests

Abstract

Papers on tolerance of alfalfa, barley, sorghum, corn, rice, wheat, cotton, vegetables and tea to insects are reviewed. Research methods used in identifying tolerant cultivars and the role of tolerance, as one of the three mechanisms of resistance, are discussed.

Résumé

Essais sur la tolérance de la luzerne, l'orge, le sorgho, le blé d'inde, le riz, le blé, le coton, les légumes, et le thé deux insects sont examinés. On discute Les méthods de recherches utilisées pour identifier les variétes tolérantes et le role do la tolérance comme un des trois mécanisms de résistance.
