Abstract
Nissim Rejwan is an Israeli scholar who was born and raised in Baghdad. He does not fit the more common mold of Israeli post-nationalists, or post-Zionists, the majority of whom are of Ashkenazi background. He also has a much higher regard for Jewish tradition, including religion, than is typical of most post-Zionists. Indeed, it is that very regard for Jewish tradition and culture that underlies his post-Zionism.
