There is a small, but important error in the article “Turkey in Crisis: Some contradictions in the Kemalist Development Strategy,” by Ozay Mehmet (IJMES 15:1, February 1983). On page 61, second paragraph of the Conclusion, line 4: the correct statement should be “…bottom 40 percent…” not 60 percent.
