In Ghazarian (Reference Ghazarian2022), the wrong surname is used for the Armenian Patriarch in the 1840s, whose surname was Chukhajian, not Izmirlian. Any reference to “Izmirlian” in the piece should instead be read as “Chukhajian.” The author apologizes for the oversight.
