Metallicity Effects in Evolutionary Cepheid Models

Based on consistent stellar evolution and pulsation calculations for Cepheids, we analyse the effect of metallicity on period–luminosity relationships. We discuss the main uncertainties of the results inherent to stellar evolution calculations and linear stability analysis.
