IC 443: The Interaction of a SNR with a Molecular Cloud

Observations are presented of shocked line emission from H2, CO and HCO+ molecules in the SNR IC 443. IC 443 is the most luminous galactic H2 emission line source yet discovered. The implications for physical processes in shocked molecular gas are discussed.
