In this paper, I would like to discuss some topics about the Vedāṅga astronomy, which is a kind of ancient Indian astronomy.

The Vedāṅga (limb of the Veda) is a class of works regarded as auxiliary to the Veda. It consists of six divisions, one of which is astronomy (jyotiŢa).
