Archiving electronic journals is complex. There are many questions; Who archives? What is archived? How many copies should be archived. How can one ensure the integrity of electronic documents? How can access be maintained? Technology will provide some answers. Electronic archives will require periodic refreshing and migration to new technology. Many factors remain unknown at this time.
