Metamorphic Differentiation of Talc-Magnesite-Chlorite Rocks in Shetland

Abstract

Practically monomineralic masses of talc, of magnesite, and of chlorite are formed in talc-magnesite-chlorite-rocks as a result of localized shearing and associated hydrothermal activity within deformation-belts.
