On the basis of Kiev City Oncologic Hospital ?1 there were examined 104 patients, who have had mastectomy done to treat breast cancer. The purpose of the research was to find out women’ compensatory -adaptational resources. The analysis of the results detected a character of adaptational potential of each of the patient. It gave an opportunity to make a clinically reasonable decision to choose the psychotherapy’ targets (intr?- or inter-mental) and psycho-correctional methods (psychotherapeutic techniques) for each separate case.
