The study aims to investigate depression in sample of women in divorced situation and comparison with normal ones (undivorced women).
Method research is causative-comparative (Ex post facto). 30 divorced and 30 undivorced women age between 25-30 randomly were selected and Beck's depression questionnaire was administered on them. T independence test was used to analyze the data.
Findings shows significant differences between tow groups. Divorced women have high scores in depression questionnaire. Also 70 percent of divorced women were in deep depression.
The findings indicated rate of depression in divorced women range from moderate to deep with affective and emotional disturbances that shows psychiatric disorders in the women and is needed plans and programs to relieve their depression and back them to social life.
