Anomalías en el movimiento ocular sacádico en la

Resumen
En un pequeño grupo (n = 15) clínicamente heterogéneo de pacientes con demencia de tipo Alzheimer o demencia vascular, una frecuencia anormalmente alta de intrusiones sacádicas durante la fijación estaba correlacionada significativamente con las puntuaciones del Mini-Mental-State Examination (MMSE). Además, la latencia de los movimientos sacádicos y los movimientos sacádicos hipométricos correlacionaban significativamente también con las puntuaciones del MMSE. Los resultados señalan el posible uso del movimiento ocular sacádico como un marcador fisiológico del rendimiento cognitivo.
