Wave transport in stratified media

Abstract

In this course, I will review the main properties of internal gravity waves, andexamine how they can lead to particle and angular momentum transport in stars. Iwill then present some recent results that have been obtained for angularmomentum transport which show that waves are an important ingrediant of stellar modelling.
