Abstract

The new astrochemistry experiment PIRENEA is presented.The set-up was designed to approach the physical conditionsthat prevail in the interstellar medium. It enables to performoriginal studies in particular when large molecules andnano-sized particles are involved. The experiment is nowoperational for science.
