Abstract

Hydrodynamical simulations have played an important rolein the understanding of extragalactic jets since the late seventies. Inthis talk, recent simulations of jets in the relativistic regime are reviewed.Special attention is payed to simulations of jets at parsec scalewhich, for the first time. have allowed to probe the current models ofsuperluminal radio sources.
