The Microphorella chillcotti species group: a distinctive lineage of parathalassiine flies from western North America (Diptera: Empidoidea: Dolichopodidae s.l.)

Abstract

The Microphorella chillcotti species group is established for two new species from western North America: Microphorella chillcottisp. nov. and Microphorella vockerothisp. nov. The relationships of this lineage to the remainder of the Microphorella group of genera are discussed.

Résumé

Le groupe espèce Microphorella chillcotti est établi pour deux nouvelles espèces du Canada occidental: Microphorella chillcottisp. nov. et Microphorella vockerothisp. nov. On discute les relations entre ce lignage et le reste du groupe générique.
