THE LARVAE OF PAGASTIA OLIVER (DIPTERA: CHIRONOMIDAE) WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF THREE NEARCTIC SPECIES

Abstract

A generic description of the larvae of Pagastia Oliver is presented. The larvae of three Nearctic species, P. partica (Roback), P. sequax (Garrett), and P. sp. A are described. A diagnostic key to these species is included.

Résumé

L'ouvrage présente une description générique des larves de Pagastia Oliver. Il décrit les larves des trois espèces néarctiques, P. partica (Roback), P. sequax (Garrett) et P sp. A. Il comprend également une clef d'identification diagnostique de ces espèces.
