A KEY TO THE GENUS NEARCTAPHIS (HOMOPTERA: APHIDIDAE) IN NORTH AMERICA

Abstract

A key is given for 13 species and two subspecies of the genus Nearctaphis in North America, including all species formerly in the genus Roepkea. The hosts, life histories, and forms for all species are poorly known and more collecting and host transfer experiments are urgently required.

Une clé est fournie pour les 13 espèces et deux sous-espèces du genre Nearctaphis en Amérique du Nord, incluant toutes les espèces faisant antérieurement partie du genre Roepkea. Les plantes-hôtes, cycles vitaux et formes de toutes les espèces sont peu connus; il est urgent d'obtenir des collections additionnelles et d'effectuer des tests de transfert d'hôte.
