Abstract

Two techniques for sexing adults of the white pine weevil Pissodes strobi Peck are described. Both techniques are based on the external anatomy of the terminal segments of the abdomen as viewed with a dissecting microscope.

Résumé

Nous présentons deux méthodes qui servent à identifier le sexe des adultes du charançon du pin blanc Pissodes strobi Peck. Celles-ci sont basées sur les caractères morphologiques des segments terminaux de l’abdomen observés avec un microscope à dissection.
