A REVISION OF HALIDAYINA DUDA (DIPTERA: SPHAEROCERIDAE)

Abstract

The formerly monotypic genus Halidayina Duda, based on the Holarctic species H. spinipennis (Haliday) is revised. Two new species are described, H. exserta from Arizona and California, and H. asymmetrica from Mexico.

Le genre Halidayina Duda jusqu'ici monotypique, et défini d'après l'espèce holarctique H. spinipennis (Haliday) est revisé. Deux nouvelles espèces sont décrites, H. exserta de l'Arizona et la Californie, et H. asymmetrica du Mexique.
