Extract

There is apparently no mention in Canadian literature of the genus Sandalus. No Canadian specimens are present in the collections of the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, and there are only two specimens of Sandalus niger Knoch, from London, Ontario, at the Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph. Previous to the writer's donation, there were none in the Canadian National Collection at Ottawa.
