The authors regret to announce that incorrect amounts were given for hydroxytyrosol in their article(Reference Vázquez-Velasco, Esperanza Díaz and Lucas1). In the fourth line of the abstract and the third line of the Subjects and Methods section, the correct amounts should read: (800–1275 μg/d of hydroxytyrosol).

Also, the units given for vitamin A in the article are wrong, and should read μg/d.
