* It is not without significance that the Epistle to the Philippians, which contains the highest Christological doctrine in this group, does not contain the metaphor of the Body. This difference from the Ephesian and Colossian is one amongst the many convergent proofs that the Epistle to the Philippians is the latest of the three.
