Call for Submissions on Women’s Mental Health
BJPsych International would like to invite contributors with an interest and experience in Women’s Mental Health to submit their work to the journal. BJPsych International may decide to gather articles in a Thematic issue according to the number and quality of articles received.
All article types are welcome (please visit author instructions). However, priority is for original articles, reviews, country profiles and special papers.
- BJPsych International focusses on current policy and practice in psychiatry from a global perspective.
- We are particularly interested in research and pieces that describe/comment on Women’s Mental Health at different life stages (including but not limited to mental health during reproductive age, menopause, and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion issues) in different cultures, views on the current diagnostic systems and their applications in clinical settings, services available in different countries, treatment approaches in different countries, challenges in management and finally innovative ideas to improve available services and treatment plans. Debates are welcome as long as supported with enough scientific evidence.
- We give priority to high quality submissions from low- and middle-income countries, especially from regions where original research is difficult.
- All submissions will be subject to peer review.
