A note on the effect of post-parturient fatty liver on clearance rate of exogenous progesterone from blood

Abstract

Progesterone (6 mg) was injected intravenously into cows with mild (no. = 6) and severe (no. = 5) fatty infiltration of the liver. Clearance rates of progesterone from blood were similar in both groups of cows.
