Skeleton X-rays of 27 twin — pairs (12 monochorial and 15 bichorial) have been examined. Differences in osseous development between the two fetuses are not relevant, but may be found with the same frequency both in omologous and heterologous pairs. The Authors finally discuss the factors (which may be different, according to the type of twin pregnancy) possibly producing variations in the skeletal apparatus.
