Abstract

The effective acquisition of Nigerian Local Government publications is dependent, upon, the identification and location of the publishers of these documents. Librarians must know to whom they should direct their requests for publications. This checklist provides the names and locations of all the Local Governments in Nigeria, created by the 1976 Local Government Reform, and gives postal addresses where obtainable. The introductory note provides a brief background on the intention of the reform and its implications for librarians.
