Summary
The Fourth Industrial Revolution has created a variety of new technologies. It seems to be undisputed that they will not only be an important economic driver but also have a great impact in basically every field of technology, on the economy and society at large, and on the relevant underlying laws.2 The development and control of these technologies is thus directly linked to future technological and military supremacy, and is the main reason for the trade dispute between the US and China.
