[22r] Convocatio praelatorum et cleri Cantuariensis provineiae facta per reverendissimum in Christo patrem et dominum Dominum Thomam, permissione divina Cantuariensem archiepiscopum, totius Angliae primatem et apostolicae sedis legatum, in ecclesia Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, primo die mensis Decembris anno Domini millesimo quadragesimo undecimo secundum cursum et computationem Ecclesiae Anglicanae, indictione tertia, pontificatus sanctissimi in Christo patris et domini Domini Iohannis, divina providentia papae vicesimo tertio anno secundo, et translationis eiusdem reverendissimi patris anno sextodecimo [1 December 1411].

Dicto primo die Decembris praefatus reverendissimus in Christo pater archiepiscopus de palatio venerabilis fratris sui Londoniensis episcopi, quod idem reverendissimus in Christo pater pro manso sive hospitio suo ad tune tenebat, et ubi per suae convocationis tempus continue residebat hospitum suum pro eo quod manerium suum et ecclesiae suae sanctae Cantuariensis de Lambeth excellentissimus in Christo princeps et dominus Dominus Henricus, Dei gratia rex Angliae et Franciae et dominus Hiberniae illustrissimus pro bono suae regiae personae et eiusdem singulari quiete occupavit ipso domino archiepiscopo hoc promittente et ad hoc per tempus parliamenti regis regii rogatus specialis intuitu consentiente, iter arripuit et intravit ecclesiam Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, et missa de Sancto Spiritu ad summum altare ibidem per eundem reverendissimum patrem pro prosperanda expeditione negotii convocationis inchoandae primitus, ut est moris, solemniter celebrata et finita, idem reverendissimus pater archiepiscopus, cum venerabilibus eoepiseopis eonfratribus suis et suae Cantuariensis provineiae suffraganeis, videlicet Richardo Londoniensi, Henrico Wintoniensi, Iohanne Eliensi, Roberto Cicestrensi, Philippo Lincolniensi, Nicholao Bathonensi et Wellensi, Roberto Saresburiensi, Roberto Herefordensi et Henrico Menevensi episcopis tune ibidem personaliter praesentibus aeeessit ad eapellam Beatae Mariae eiusdem ecclesiae, et facta tune ibidem solemni collatione per egregium clericum Magistrum Iohannem Langdon sacrae theologiae professorem eximium monachum et eleemosynarium ecclesiae Christi Cantuariensis, sumpto pro themate suo:’ Vocati estis in uno corpore’ etc., in ipsa collatione valde pertinenter processit dictus monachus sermonista. Et subsequenter post eandem sic satis eleganter prosecutam et finitam, exhibitum fiiit certificatorium dicti domini episcopi Londoniensis et publice per unum clericorum dicti domini archiepiscopi perlectum, cuius tenor sequitur et est talis:

Reverendissimo in Christo patri et domino Domino Thomae, Dei gratia Cantuariensi archiepiscopo, totius Angliae primati et apostolicae sedis legato, vestrisve locum tenentibus seu commissariis quibuscunque, Richardus, eadem gratia Londoniensis episcopus oboedientiam et reverentiam debitas tanto patri.
