Summary
A dancer once said of one of his own entrechats: “It’s a handful of diamonds thrown towards the sun!” Another, on seeing Mme. Ferraris in Le Cheval de bronze, exclaimed: “She’s a rose blown by the wind in a swirl of turquoises, rubies and gold dust.”
