But indeed our lord is the one true master. He, the son of God is truly good; he, the word of God became son of man, and endured suffering for us. For he has fought and conquered: on one hand, as man he fought for the fathers and redeemed their disobedience by his obedience, on the other hand, he has bound the strong man, set free the weak and poured out salvation on the work of his hands, destroying sin.
