Preceded on ff. 1–2v by a table of contents with the rubric heading: ‘Here foloweth the kalender of the chapitres of this book and at the bygynnyng is the proheme of þe book that is cleped the mirrour of the blessed lyf of oure lord iesu crist’, and with the concluding rubric ‘Attende lector …’. The text breaks off at a point equivalent to Sargent p. 237 line 6.
Inscriptions: f. 149v: ‘Edward Neald oweþ this Booke’; the same name also occurs in a note on f. 57 (s. xvi, noted by Sargent).
