Entries 2–34 can be matched to the contents of the volume. The MS begins and ends defectively causing the loss of the nos. 1, part of 2, part of 34, 35 and 36. The first item mentioned here, now missing from the MS, is chapter AB of Contemplations of the Dread and Love of God (also known as Fervor Amoris): IPMEP 362; Wells Rev. 9:3446 [41]; Jolliffe H.15.

No. 2 in the Contents List where it is described as ‘a prologe of þe pater noster wiþ þe vij askynges of þe pater noster folowyng.’ Begins imperfectly due to loss of leaf from MS. Wells Rev. 9:3470–71 [87]; Jolliffe B. Other selections from the Pore Caitif occur as items [4], [5]–[9], [11]–[17] and [31] below.
