Summary
Instructions to a five-point Likert scale of Agreement/Disagreement*
My life experiences leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
In my life I have suffered many painful experiences.
I do not like to go back to whatever I have suffered.
It is tiresome for me to approach painful relationships.
I am convinced that life holds much more suffering than satisfaction.
Relationships with others leave me profoundly wounded.
Often I feel completely overwhelmed by others.
I experience very few serene moments in my life.
Relationships with people close to me are a source of anger that I do not express.
I have learned to show indifference to whatever happens around me.
I think that it is useless to cry and to complain.
Whoever is born with an adverse destiny cannot do anything to change it.
What others define as indifference is for me all the pain that I suffered.
I am unable to rebel as much as I would like.
I experience more sadness than joy.
