Salutem in Christo

My very good Lord.

Whereas his Majesty hath been graciously pleased to settle certain Landes escheated unto him by the death of Sir Miles Hubbard Kt for the mayntenance of three Fellowships in the University of Oxford, which Places are to be supplyed with Schollers out of the Isles of Garnsey and Jarsey, as by his Majesty's Letters Patent under the Broad Seale lately past, may more at large appear. And for asmuch as the Fees thereof, it being a Perpetuity, will amount unto a greater Summe then the sayd Fellowships, or the Colledges themselves unto which they are allotted, are well able to beare, I am commanded by his Majesty to signify unto your Lordship that it is his pleasure that the Fees due upon the passing the sayd Letters Patent shall be remitted. Soe not doubting of your Lordships noblenes herein, I leave you to gods grace, and Rest
