Summary
This appendix details one of the earliest known indentures for an advance sale of wool between Pipewell Abbey and two prominent Londoners. We believe that this contract has not been previously identified or discussed in the literature. We have presented the original contract, photographed at the National Archives, Kew, the Latin transcription and English translation.
