Summary
This book is an abridged English-language edition of a monograph originally published in 2004 in Moscow, Russia. The monograph came about as a result of in-depth research into East Asian regionalism by a group of Russian scholars from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The English edition, although partly revised and updated, basically retained the logic and main ideas of the original text.
