This Energy Efficiency Building Code for Commercial Buildings in Sri Lanka was developed with the support of the World Bank. The project was initiated by Prof. Nimal de Silva, Chairman Urban Development Authority and P. A. M. Deraniyagala, Chairman Ceylon Electricity Board, to whom a debt of gratitude is owed for their guidance. The project was managed by the CEB Demand Side Management Branch: M. S.
