Summary
An 80-year-old male just woke up after an emergency pinning of his left hip. You are called to the recovery room because the patient’s heart rate suddenly increased from 80 to 160 beats/min. How would you evaluate? What would you do if his blood pressure was 120/80 mm Hg? What if his blood pressure was 60/30 mm Hg?
