The first official list was published in 1908, although lists had been printed from 1837 onwards. The original list of 1908 is arranged by superintendent registrar's districts, and then numerically by the worship licence number. For the purposes of this appendix the entries have been re-arranged by parishes to match the calendar. An asterisk in place of the worship licence number shows that the licence was issued before 1852. ‘AP’ after the marriage licence number indicates that the congregation had appointed an authorised person.
