page 284 note 1 This is pointed out by the Rev. Lal Behari Dey in an excellent article on Chaitanya and the Vaishnavas, in the calcutta review for 01, 1851. At p. 769Google Scholar Dinesh chandra appers not to be altogether just to Lal behari, and to Underrate his Knoeledge of Bengali homes.
page 284 note 2 Chandra, Dinesh says, p. 471, that the Chaitanya-charita-mritaGoogle Scholar does not say how Chaitanya died; but according to Lal Behari Dey, krishna Dās, the author of the book, ends with a description of Chaitanya's being brought ashore a corpse.
