Monelasmina besti, a new Schizophoriid Brachiopod from the Upper Devonian of Western Canada

Abstract

Monelasmina, previously known only from the Frasnian of Europe, is described and figured from the Hay River formation (Frasnian) of the Northwest Territories, Canada. The specimens are referred to a new species, M. besti.
