P-1167 - Psychotherapy of the Women Victims of Domestic Violence

We have been examined 55 women victims of domestic violence. 59 % of women have transferred physical violence, 100 % - psychological pressure, 6 %-economic violence.

The form of psychological pressure upon women frequently was the manipulation interests of the child at divorce when husbands tried to offend and lower authority of the wife. At the majority of members of a family characterologic features in the form of an unbalance, irritability, cruelty were marked.

At women, victims of domestic violence, psychopathological changes of the personality not only in the form of formation victim character traits, but also in the form of aggression form have been revealed. Women of other group have been passive, subordinated, couldn't protect itself and children in a family was formed

We applied such methods of psychotherapy: psychological consultation; suggestive psychotherapy; system family psychotherapy; rational psychotherapy. The complex psychotherapy has been directed on an estimation of a psychoinjuring situation of violence and formation of new representations about home life and development new reactions and behavior forms, formation preventive maintenance victim characters of the personality at women. Psychological consultation solved problems of the permission of difficulties of the suffered woman through creation of conditions for expression strong emotions, acquisition of feeling of control by it over itself.

As a result at 98 % of women displays neurotic syndroms were reduced, increase of a self-appraisal, self-trust, improvement of state of health of women have been reached, the psychological climate in all families also has improved.
